Thursday morning, I chose to attend Sales Enablement Soirée, which has been organizing for a third year alongside Dreamforce, starting with 15 participants and now at 1500. All lectures were meant to enable sales representatives to deliver the best results.
I started at the Customer Success Expo that had Free Passes. It was a classic expo, where companies were either selling their solution or looking for new talents. There were also Salesforce partners who we needed to network with.
After the Expo we went to 3 happy hours including Exnoo networking, which also sits in Prague and is changing direction to focus more on building its own products.
I started Thursday with a coffee and a conversation with an American teenager about more complex solutions built in Salesforce. In the morning, I attended a few sessions on GDPR and the development. After a short lunch together with Zuzka I went to a Developer Key Note. This speech lasted for less than an hour, but the speaker was very engaging.
In the afternoon, I decided to spend on the sessions about lightning. Sessions were on various topics from administration to development or introduction of new functionalities. I discussed with Salesforce our current problems, and in some of them I reached out to people who were able to direct me with a final solution.
As Zuzka mentions, we had a scheduled event at night, where we met people from Poland who are also working with Salesforce. We were there for 2 hours and we met a man from Bulgaria who is now living in London. He is a passionate football player and fan. For a while we discussed football and eventually I left with stickers of his favorite Bulgarian club. Unfortunately, I did not have any Spartan stickers to give him in return.
Zuzka then hurried to make it to one event, and I went to refresh and restore at a tiny park in the center of the San Francisco, amongst all the skyscrapers.
