Adam’s decision to leave his managerial role and return closer to technology had been brewing for some time. It followed his journey from programming through people management to a period when the role of IT began to change rapidly and AI started entering the work more and more. Stepping Out of the Comfort Zone
What made you choose Salesforce for your next career move? What brought you to Enehano?
I have several years of managerial experience behind me, but I studied at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and professionally started out as a programmer. I enjoy managerial work, but over time I realised that I didn’t study IT to write formulas in Excel. The contact with technology I enjoy and find interesting has gradually grown distant.
The tech world is also going through a significant shift. AI is already influencing the way IT specialists work, and more change is yet to come. In the summer of 2025, I therefore decided to leave Actum, and I saw it as an opportunity to get back closer to technology.
So I had the motivation, but I needed to find someone willing to give me the chance. I thought of Michal Peška, with whom I had collaborated in the past. We arranged a meeting and gradually confirmed that working together made sense. That’s how my path to Enehano came about.
You’ve only been at Enehano for a short time. Did anything surprise you in the first few weeks?
Yes, and pleasantly so. I’ve experienced companies where people pushed hard for performance and the price was long-term tension. At the same time, I’ve worked with teams where people felt good, but the pace of work was significantly slower.
At Enehano, I meet people who work at full capacity and care about the quality of results. At the same time, there's a friendly and open atmosphere here. The combination of high commitment and a positive work environment feels sustainable in the long run.

Experiences That Shape the Approach to Work
What from your experience in e-commerce, banking, and global delivery do you draw on most when designing solutions for our clients?
I’m still at the very beginning of my Salesforce journey, so I’ll be happy to come back to deeper technical insights with some time behind me. For now, I lean heavily on the ability to see connections, understand how organisations work, and perceive how technology decisions affect people and processes.
What experience from leading large teams is most useful to you today?
At heart I’m a programmer, and for a long time I looked at the world with the assumption that 1 + 1 equals two. As a manager, I repeatedly, sometimes painfully, learned that this equation doesn’t hold when working with people. When you ask three people about strategy, one wants to see a thirty-slide presentation, another wants to grab a coffee together and talk about the future, and the third needs to hear that they don’t have to worry about their job. I can’t claim I’ve mastered it, but I’ve hopefully learned something. And that experience comes in handy both when working with colleagues and when dealing with clients.
When Work Also Makes Room for Family
How do you manage to balance your work and personal life?
Today I work mostly from home, which gives me more time for my family. Less time in the car means more space for my wife and children, which I see as a great value.
At the same time, I had ambitions that working from home would mean I’d run every day. The reality so far is a bit more modest; I definitely still have plenty of room for improvement.
